Mineral absorption is dependent on how soluble the mineral is, and in turn, the mineral's solubility is determined by the pH of its environment - the lower the pH, the more soluble the mineral. Glycine, the amino acid in magnesium bisglycinate, helps to decrease the pH in the small intestine, which improves the solubility and absorbability of Magnesium Bisglycinate.* This product is NSF Certified for Sport.
