This is a farm-direct Shanlinxi High Mountain Oolong at a very attractive price.

Grown at 1,500-1,600M in one of the best areas anywhere in Taiwan, Misty Mountain is a proper Taiwanese "High Mountain Oolong".  Over the years, Misty Mountain has become a flagship tea for BTTC often noted for its quality, drink-ability and price. 

We are proud to have exclusive access to Farmer Zeng's Gaoshancha.  He expertly grows this amazing tea on his small family farm nearly a mile above sea level where it's bathed daily in alternate mist and sunshine.  This is hand picked, small-batch tea that will give you pleasure for months.

Location: Shanlinxi

Elevation: 1,500M

Harvest: Winter 2017

Brewing: One teaspoon to 8oz. 195 deg. water for 3-4 minutes.

Vacuum packed at the source.  This tea is good for at least 2 years when kept out of heat/light. 

Note: If you order a larger amount, it will be packed in convenient 2 oz. vacuum-sealed bags unless specifically requested otherwise.  In other words, an 8 oz. order will come in 4 individually vacuum packed bags.

A: Our teas are grown by individual farmers in Taiwan.


Q: What is Oolong tea?
A:  Oolong tea is a wide range of teas oxidized between +/- 15% to 90%. They can vary greatly in taste, appearance and profile - some are greener, some are darker.


Q: Can you mix Oolong tea with other teas? 
A: Yes, you can but the best way to taste the true, deep and smooth flavor of the tea is to drink it without mixing.
