Dian Hong Black Tea
This tea is a great example of Yunnan Black Teas. Farm-Direct and grown on super-clean Jing Mai Mountain in far South-Western Yunnan by a friend of the Yu family!
Originally, this tea was procured on our Kickstarter campaign last Summer but this new batch is from late Summer 2016. Nice and malty but sweet with notes of dark cherry. Smooth drinker and very good tea at this price point!
The shelf life of this tea is indefinite if stored properly.
Fill the bottom of your gaiwan or similar and brew at 205°F/96°C with 20 sec. infusions or to taste. If you are new to brewing see our Beginners Brewing Guide.
